Every few days we receive a package. We never quite know what these packages will hold, so it’s always a nice surprise when we begin to unbox them.
Let me tell you that Simply Bee Organics spoilt us! The package we received was small, but like Mary Poppins bag it was a small container than just kept on giving!
The package contained beard balm, beard oil, mustache wax, two types of pomade, and two types of aftershave balm.
Like I said we were spoilt! But when we are spoilt, it means more work! So with that in mind, on to the reviews.
Matte Finish Pomade
We were quite surprised at how it somehow managed not to be greasy. The pomade contains beeswax, essential oils and mango butter, yet somehow my hair wasn’t greasy.
After using the pomade for a day my hair was noticeably softer, by the end of the week the health of my hair had improved, at least there were fewer split ends.
This isn’t a surprise when you look at the ingredients list, this pomade contains everything you hair will love.

- Arrow Root Powder
- Vitamin E
And all the ingredients are organic.
As an added bonus, when you place an order, Simply Bee Organics will throw in a packet of wildflower seeds for you to plant, I think that’s amazing. The bee’s provide you with so much, why not pay them back by giving them some of their favorite flowers?
When you open the pomade it’s very solid. Treat it like you would your beard balm, use the back of your thumbnail to scrape out the desired amount, melt the pomade in the palm of your hands and apply.

Strong Hold Pomade
The strong hold pomade is exactly the same as the matt finish, except it provides a strong hold for mohawks, fohawks and spiked hair styles.
It provides the same benefits as the matte finish pomade, they are both fantastic for your hair, I couldn’t find a link on the simply bee organics site, so it may be worth contacting them directly if you need a strong hold pomade.
Aftershave balm
Now, I’m a bearded chap so you maybe thinking why would I need an aftershave balm? Good question, the simple answer is that I still shave, I shave around my beard to keep it looking smart.
As I do this every few days, I have plenty of opportunities to try out these aftershave balms.
I have to be honest, usually I just shave away the unwanted hair and leave my skin to it. Turns out that’s a mistake.
My skin thanked me for applying these aftershave balms by not being irritated, no soreness, no redness and thankfully no itching!

before we move onto the next product in our review, I have to mention the scents, Simply Bee Organics have got their scents spot on.
The sandalwood smells exactly like sandalwood, it’s a fantastic smell that I can’t get enough off.
The Eucalyptus and Pine, at first it reminded me of the Christmas tree we had during Christmas, then my wife took a wiff and for her it was rosemary.
I ended up agreeing, as the week went on during the testing period, the scent really was freshly chopped rosemary, which is an amazing scent. This one was my favorite and I’ll be personally buying this in the future.
Mustache Wax
The mustache wax is unscented so there won’t be any comments about the scent, the hold however was amazing, I don’t often do much with my mustache it just sit’s on my top lip proud and intimidating.
Using this mustache wax for the first time, I strutted into my living room sporting a handle bar mustache, the wife made some noises which I can only assume was about how amazing my mustache was.
Don’t think however that mustache wax is just for styling your mustache, I don’t know about you, but my mustache misbehaves at times. It likes to sneak a hair up my nose randomly just to annoy me. It’s these misbehaving hairs that mustache wax will tame into obedience.
This mustache wax is fantastic, it held my misbehaving hairs in place and I felt by the end of the week that my mustache was healthier.
If anything the hairs were straighter.

Beard Balm
I test a lot of beard balms, all with varying scents, unfortunately a lot of beard balm producers tend to miss the target when it comes to the scent they are aiming for.
Not so with Simply Bee Organics, the beard balm’s scent was Eucalyptus & Pine and boy did they hit the spot, this scent is amazing, straight away the scent smelt exactly like a pine tree, for me this was the Christmas tree that we had over the Christmas period.
After a few days the scent started to remind me of freshly chopped rosemary, just fresh and lovely.
My beard loved this balm as well, sitting straighter, hair healthier, no soreness or itchiness in sight.

Beard Oil

This was certainly the case with this beard oil, my beard is softer because of it and I love the scent. So much so that this is now in my short list of top beard oils to use on a daily basis.

Conclusion
It’s not often I come across a company who excels as much as this one, the products are all organic, the scents are all exactly what you would expect, none of those “mint fresh” only to find that it smells like stale toothpaste.
On top of that the company has a deep passion for bee’s which you can tell by looking at their company name and their logo, If that wasn’t enough, any order you place you get free wildflower seeds, so you can help the bees!
